2.4 Battery information
•
Never short-circuit the battery by placing the positive and negative terminals in
contact with each other.
•
The battery is waterproof and can therefore withstand rain. You can therefore use your
bike in rainy weather without any problems. However, try not to expose the
battery to
excessive quantities of water
.
•
Low environmental impact, since electricity is a form of clean energy.
However, at the end of its lifespan, your battery should be handed over for
recycling (like all batteries).
•
The performance of your
battery is reduced in low temperatures
*.
•
In ideal conditions, the battery unit can be completely recharged around
1,000
times. In the course of time and use, the battery's performance will
progressively decrease and it will eventually be necessary to replace it.
•
Do not expose
the battery to high temperatures
(> 50
°C),
such as
heating, direct
sunlight or fire
.
•
Do not dismantle the battery. Consult your dealer in case of problems.
•
For prolonged storage, place the battery in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight
.
•
Only use the supplied charger
.
*All of the specifications mentioned are valid for a temperature of 25
°C. As a
general
rule, the capacity of the battery decreases by 1
% for each decrease in
temperature of
1
°C
.
