5. Air inlet controls
5.1 Air Inlet
Your stove requires air to function and this can enters the appliance at 3 points (lower rear
or directly underneath the appliance and mid rear). Either lower connection can be used for
external air connections if required during installations or left open to accept air from the
room.
NOTE : DO NOT COVER OR PARTIALLY OBSTRUCT THE AIR INLET OPENINGS FOR
THE APPLIANCE.
5.1.1 Primary air control location
The primary air control regulates the air entering the fire box chamber, suppling air below
the grate. This control is situated below the fire door on the right hand side when facing the
front of the stove.

If rear connection is used, then the
circular access panel in the rear heat
shield will need to be removed.

NOTE :
The primary air control is used only in the initial
ignition stage of the burn, once the fire bed has
been established the primary air supply should
be fully closed and the air supply regulated via
the secondary air control.
