IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefullly.
2. This appliance may only be connected to the same main voltage as shown on the rating plate.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse or rinse housing, cord or plug in water
or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
6. Do not contact any moving parts while the appliance is operating.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or
is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take the product to an authorized service factility for
examination, repair, or electrical or machanical adjustment.
8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or it's authorised service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard & damge to the unit.
9. The use of attachment or accessories which are not supplied with the appliance are not
recommended. This could result in electrical shock or injury.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
11. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
12. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
13. The toaster should not be left unsupervised while it is in use.
14. Stand the toaster away from any other objects so that the air required for it to function properly
can circulate freely.
15. If a slice of bread becomes stuck inside the toaster, pull out the mains plug, wait for the toaster
to cool down and carefully remove the bread.
