SD1+ connections
It is recommended to activate using relay or transistor outputs which
close if there is an alarm (NO contact), since then no additional
terminal resistance is necessary for the connection. In this case it
does not matter whether earthing (0V) or 12V is switched. The
advantage with open contacts (NC contacts) is the self-monitoring in
the alarm zone. If this is broken through, an alarm is activated.
The SD1+ works with two different voltages: the voltage of the
analog telephone connection (approx. 31V AC) and the voltage of the
alarm control panel (approx. 12V DC). Be sure not to confuse the two
voltages under any circumstances; also, keep the lines separate
from each other when leading them into the unit, since otherwise
damage to the product or electrical shock may result.
