Motor operates for long periods
– Modern cooling appliances require longer
cooling time.
– Normal when the fridge/freezer combination

– Surrounding temperature too high.

Motor starts and stops frequently
– Motor keeps temperature stable.
Appliance vibrates or rattles
– The fridge/freezer combination is not stable.
Ensure that the appliance is level by means of
the adjusting screws of the front rollers.
– Slightly reposition vibrating dishes on the
shelves. Slight vibration is normal.
If you are away from home for a short period of time, you
needn't change any of the settings of the fridge/freezer
combination. But make sure you remove all perishable food.
If you suspect that the temperature of the room in which the
appliance is located will fall below 16°C, you should act as
follows:
1. Set the thermostat knob of the freezer section to
(= OFF) during longer periods of absence or holidays.
2. Remove all food from the fridge/freezer combination.
3. Clean the interior with a solution of one tablespoonful of
bicarbonate of soda and one litre of water.
4. Dry it thoroughly.
5. Place a bowl of bicarbonate of soda in the refrigerator
section to prevent smells.
6. Leave the doors of the refrigerator and freezer sections
open.
7. Set the icemaker's sensor to setting (up). No further
ice will be made.
8. Turn off the water supply to the appliance.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Remove the plug from the socket.
2. Remove all food.
3. Clean the interior with a solution of one tablespoonful of
bicarbonate of soda and one litre of water.
4 . Firmly secure with tape all loose parts, such as grids,
shelves and drawers. You will thereby prevent your
appliance from being damaged.
5. Always transport the fridge/freezer combination in an
upright position. Firmly secure the appliance in the
removal vehicle. Protect the exterior with a blanket.
