your extractor hood
introduction
You have chosen an Atag extractor hood.
Optimum ease of use and simple operation were the most
important factors in the development of this product.
The extractor hood has been designed to be built in above an
Atag hob fitted with a so-called synchro-start. As soon as you
use one of the controls on the hob, the fan switches on.
This extractor hood is unique, thanks to its specially designed
radar. When you approach the extractor hood, its radar
detects you and automatically switches the hood on to
standby.
If you have set the lighting to its highest setting, the radar
will switch it down to the dimmed setting when you move
away from the appliance. If you walk back towards the
appliance, the lighting will return to its highest setting.
The extractor hood’s controls use infrared movement
sensors. If you hold your hand a few centimetres above the
function you want, the extractor hood switches itself on.
Easily and hygienically.
When the fan, continued-running and lighting functions
switch on, you are alerted by a beep. You can switch the
beep off if you wish.
You can allow the extractor hood to continue running for ten
minutes fully automatically at the fan setting you wish, after
which the fan will turn itself off.
If the grease filters require cleaning after a while, the
extractor hood will indicate this automatically.
