This appliance should only be connected up by a registered installer! The

The appliance should always be earthed.
Damage caused by incorrect connection, incorrect use or incorrect
building in is not covered by the guarantee.
The walls and the worktop around the appliance must be made of heat-
resistant (>85°C) material. Even if the appliance itself does not get hot,
the heat from a hot frying pan, for instance, could cause discolouring or
damage to the wall or worktop.
For correct operation of the appliance it is important that:
– That there is sufficient ventilation to allow the hob to cool down, in
accordance with the possibilities specified in this chapter.
– The ventilation air drawn in by the hob must not be warmer than
35 °C. Bear this in mind if the oven is to be built in under the hob.
Ensure that the connection cables hang freely. If there is a drawer
underneath the hob, make sure that the contents do not project above
the edge of the drawer and interfere with the ventilation.
