Pause
The lock-pause button enables you to interrupt the cooking for
five minutes, if your attention is required elsewhere, for exam-
ple. The lock/pause button does not work for zones for which a
cooking time or cooking programme has been set, as these zones
will already switch off automatically.
Switching on and off
Press the lock/pause button for several seconds. All zones will be
turned down to setting 2 for a period of 5 minutes. Press the
pause button again within 5 minutes to continue cooking at the
previous setting.
If you do not press the pause button again within 5 minutes the
relevant zones will be switched off.
NB:
The lock/pause button is not suitable to switch the hob off
completely.
Childproof lock
The childproof lock enables you to lock the hob when it is swit-
ched off. This prevents it being switched on unintentionally
during maintenance or children switching it on.
Switching on and off
Place your finger on the button for 3 seconds. The childproof
lock is on if the light above button comes on.
The childproof lock cannot be activated while you are cooking. You
can still use the timer when the hob is locked.
Memory button
The link button has various functions. The link button enables
you to set both the timer and the memory function and creates
a link between the timer and the appropriate zone.
