Press the RESET button (Fig. 2/18) of the back of the unit.
Disconnect the mains plug for about 5 seconds. Insert the
mains plug into the socket and switch the player on again.

Before troubleshooting, switch the player o.
Video plug for transmission of the Video signal, you must
use and Audio cable in addition to the Video cable
“Connecting the Audio cable”.
Amplier switched o If you use an amplier for Audio output: check whether the
amplier is switched on.
Incorrect settings Check the settings of your DVD-Player.
Sound is distorted Presets incorrect Change the settings in the audio menu.
The remote control
does not work
wrong direction The remote control is not pointed towards the DVD-Player.
too far away Make sure that the remote control is not further than 7 m
away from the player.
Batteries empty Replace the batteries in the remote control

iPod / iPhone not
recognised
iPod or iPhone battery is low Wait a few minutes until the unit recognises your iPod or
iPhone.
No radio reception. The antenna cable is not con-
nected.
Insert the antenna cable irmly into the antenna socket of
the device.
Poor radio reception. The received radio station is too
weak for a stereo operation.
Adjust the device to mono operation by pressing the MO/ST
button (Fig. 3/18).
In automatic search
mode the radio does
not stop at a trans-
mitting station.
The transmission signals are too
weak.
Tune in to a radio station manually.
Disposal
At the end of the service life of the appliance, in particular if it is mal-
functioning, make the appliance unusable by pulling the mains plug out
of the socket and separating the power cable. Dispose of the appliance
according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.
Electrical waste may not be disposed of together with household waste.
