12.1 Battery and Charger Safety

Only use battery and charger approved by the phone manufacturer.

Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full
performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three
complete charge and discharge cycles.

The charging time depends on the charger and the battery used.

The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it
will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times are
noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery.

If unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge.

When the charger is not disconnecting it from the power source. Do
not leave the battery connected to the charger and power source for
longer then necessary as overcharging it will shorten its life.
