ermal safety cut-out
e preset thermal safety cut-out protects
the heating element from overheating should
the appliance be erroneously switched on
without any water, or if the heating element is
calci ed. Once the safety cut-out has switched
o the kettle, it must be allowed to cool down
su ciently, or must be descaled before it is
switched on again.
Temperature control
e temperature control is used to select
the desired water level. Once it is reached,
the kettle will automatically switch o . e
temperature is in nitely adjustable. To bring
water to boiling point, the temperature
control should be set at its maximum.
N.B: e setting increases as the control
is turned clockwise, and decreases as the
control is turned anti-clockwise.
Before using for the rst time

area, lime deposits may build up on the
heating element. It is advisable to remove
any such deposits at regular intervals. Any
