Important safety instructions
Before the appliance is used, the main unit
as well as any attachment tted should
be checked thoroughly for any defects.
Should the appliance, for instance, have
been dropped onto a hard surface, it must
not be used any longer: even invisible
damage may have adverse e ects on the
operational safety of the appliance.

Do not leave the water kettle unattended
during operation. Use only pure water
when lling the container to the desired
level, observing the Min. and Max. marks.
Over lling the container may cause
danger from boiling water being forced
out. Also beware of the danger of scalding
from hot steam being emitted. erefore,
do not touch any parts of the appliance
except the handle during use.
e exterior surfaces become hot during
use and will remain so for some time
a erwards.
Caution! During the boiling process and
when pouring out hot water, the lid must
be kept closed at all times.
e kettle may only be operated with the
base provided with the appliance.
e appliance must be used only on a heat-
resistant, level surface.
Do not allow the appliance or its power
cord to come into contact with open
ames or any hot surfaces such as hot-
plates.
Do not let the power cord hang free, and
keep the cord well away from hot parts of
the housing.
