Safety instructions
The warranty will be rendered null and void in the event of damage due to failure to
comply with these operating instructions. We shall not be liable for any consequential
damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be
rendered null and void in such cases.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the pro-
duct are not permitted.
• The device may only be may only be supplied with energy through the enclosed power supply
unit. Only connect the power unit to a normal mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz).
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this mixer must be trained
and qualified correspondingly and must observe these operating instructions.
• Never touch the power unit with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of a fatal electric shock.
• If the power unit is damaged, do not touch it. First of all switch off the mains socket to which
the product is connected (e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and then unplug the power unit
carefully from the mains socket. Do not operate the product any more. Take it to a specialist
workshop.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the power unit’s cable is not pinched or damaged
by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children do not under-
stand how dangerous electrical devices can be.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids could enter into the interior of the housing
and impair the electrical safety of the device. There is also a great risk of fire or a fatal electric
shock. In such a case, switch off the mains socket to which the product is connected (e.g.
switch off automatic fuse) and unplug the power pack from the mains socket. Remove all cables
from the device. The product must not be operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong vibration or
heavy mechanical stress.

Do not place open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or right next to the device.
• Consult a suitably qualified specialist if you have doubts about how the equipment operates or
about how to connect it safely.
• Never leave the device on without supervision.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for children to play
with.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are connected to
this device.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability Insu-
rance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
