on the top of the packaging.
When using electrical appliances, always observe the following basic safety instructions:
- Carefully read the instructions leaflet before first using your appliance: KRUPS may not
be held responsible for any incorrect use of the appliance
- Do not leave the appliance running without supervision, especially where there are
young children or severely disabled people.
- Check that your appliance's power supply rating corresponds to your mains electrical power
supply. Any error in connection will cancel the terms of your warranty.
- Your appliance is intended only for culinary purposes inside the home.
- Disconnect your appliance as soon as you have finished using it, when you clean it or if there
is a power failure.
- Never put your fingers or any other object in the blender jug while the appliance is running.
- Handle the blades with great care. They can cause injury.
- Do not use your appliance if it does not run correctly, if it has been damaged or if the
power supply cord or plug has been damaged. For safety reasons, have them replaced
by a KRUPS authorised service centre (see list in the KRUPS service handbook)
- Any maintenance other than normal cleaning by the customer must be performed by a
certified service centre (see list in the KRUPS service handbook)
- Do not put the appliance, the power supply cord or the plug in water or any other
liquid.
- Do not let the power supply cord hang in reach of children, close to or in contact with any
hot parts of the appliance, close to a source of heat or a sharp edge.

- In the interests of safety, only use KRUPS accessories and spare parts designed for your
appliance.
- Use your appliance on a flat, clean, dry surface.
