PROBLEMS CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
The steam does not come
out of the nozzle.
After switching off your appliance and leaving it to cool:
Make sure the tip of the steam nozzle is properly
afxed. Make sure the steam nozzle is not clogged at
the aerator (if necessary clean the steam nozzle aerator
with the needle supplied). Empty the tank and remove
the Claris lter. Fill the tank with mineral water high in
calcium (> 100 mg/litre or .015oz/gallon), it may take as
many as 5 to 10 cycles of steam at 60 seconds each
cycle to achieve a continuous jet of steam.
There is not enough milk
froth.
Using the needle supplied unblock the small air inlet at
the top of the nozzle if required.
Use a cold container and milk that has been opened
recently.
Try changing the type of milk if this does not work (UHT
or pasteurised).
The milk froth is too bubbly.
Check that the two ends of the small stainless steel
tube are tted correctly into the exible part of the
steam nozzle.
The Auto-Cappuccino
accessory does not suck
the milk (accessory sold
separately).
Ensure that the tube immersed in the milk is not
blocked.
Check that the exible tube is not twisted and that it is
correctly tted into the accessory to avoid any air being
sucked in.
After switching off your appliance and leaving it to cool,
unblock the outlet of the Auto-Cappuccino accessory.
After emptying the coffee
grounds collector, the
warning message is still
displayed on the screen.
Correctly replace the coffee grounds collector and
follow the instuctions on the screen. Wait at least 6
seconds before replacing them.
The power has been cut off
during a cycle.
The appliance resets itself automatically when the
power is switched back on and is ready for a new cycle.
There is water or coffee
underneath the appliance.
The drip collector tray has overowed: empty it and
clean the coffee grounds collector. Check that the drip
tray is tted correctly.
Do not remove the water tank before the end of the
cycle.
A message appears.
Unplug the appliance for 20 seconds, remove the Claris
cartridge and if required, put it back into service.
If the fault persists, note the fault number and contact
KRUPS’ Customer Service.
If coffee ows behind the
coffee nozzles.
Pour cold or room-temperature water into the tank.
Reduce the temperature level.

  • Zojuist een stekkersymbool in display. Stekker uit stopcontact getrokken en er weer in gestoken, nu doet het apparaat niets meer. Iemand ervaring mee en dan wat te doen? Alvast bedankt! Gesteld op 20-3-2022 om 20:48

  • Ik krijg steeds de melding "machine vullen?....druk op OK.
    Deze melding blijft zich herhalen. Niets werkt. Uitzetten niet en ook de stekker er een tijd uit werkt niet. Ik kan gewoon geen koffie meer zetten. Wat is het probleem? En hoe kan ik dit oplossen? Gesteld op 12-12-2021 om 22:11

  • Mijn Krups AE82 geeft de mededeling "machine vullen?"...druk op OK.
    Het probleem is dat de machine dit blijft herhalen. Niets werkt. Uitzetten niet, de stekker er een tijdje uit werkt ook niet. Andere knoppen reageren niet. Ik kan gewoon geen koffie meer zetten.
