• Now slide the mouthpiece of the collection bag over the opening of the device
until the two clips click into place.
• A shoulder strap is supplied with the device. Attach it to the leaf reamer body
with its hook. The shoulder strap makes working with the device more
comfortable and reduces fatigue. Wear it as the user likes.
Use
Before use, check that all parts are correctly fastened and that the blow and
vacuum ducts and the selector switch are not blocked with dirt from previous use.
Connect an extension cable that complies with
the instructions. Bend the extension cable in a
loop around the cable hook in order to relieve
the load on the connection.
Check that all safety instructions have been
obeyed.
Insert the plug into an earthed 230V socket.
This electrical installation must be fitted with an
earth leakage switch (max. 30 mA.)
Now move the selector switch to the desired
position until you hear a clear click: A =
Vacuum, B = blow
Pulling the squeeze handle (7) starts the operation of the machine. Releasing it
the machine stops. Always remove the plug from the socket after use.
The leaf blower can be used to blow waste off of terraces, paths and lawns, and from
borders and bushes. It can vacuum up leaves, papers, thin twigs and wood shavings.
When you vacuum up waste it passes a fan before entering the collection bag. This
is a plastic fan that breaks and crushes leaves and twigs and chops them roughly due
to its speed. The crushed or chopped waste can be used for compost or around plants
in the garden. Make sure that no hard objects such as stones, bottles, metal pieces
and so forth can enter the leaf blower. This could damage the device and cause injury
to the user or bystanders.
