7.0 Managing recorded video
After the EM6010 has made a recording, you can immediately playback these images,
search for a specific time or save the recording to a USB stick, so you can (for
instance) hand it to the authorities.
7.1 Immediately playback images
1. Press the ‘Play’ button, on the lower right part of the remote control.
2. The EM6010 will now switch to playback modus. Recording will commence in the
background without being disturbed.
3. You can now use the remote control to rewind or fast-forward.
4. By pressing the key multiple times you can forward or rewind faster.
5. If you wish to return to normal speed you can press the ‘Play’ button.
6. If you wish to leave the playback modus you can press the ‘Stop’ button.
7.2 Search images
1. Press the ‘Search’ button, on the lower left part of the remote control.
2. You can now choose a search method. (The option ‘HDD-MASTER-1’ can not be
changed, because you can only place one hard disk in the EM6010.)
3. The option ‘Full List’ shows a complete list of recordings.
4. The option ‘Record List’ shows a list of all manual recordings.
5. The option ‘System List’ shows a list of all timer recordings. By default the
EM6010 splices these recordings each hour and writes a message in the list.
6. The option ‘Alarm List’ shows a list of all recordings made as result of an external
alarm.
7. The option ‘Motion List’ shows a list of all recordings made as a result of motion
detection.
8. The option ‘Event Search’ allows you to search for recordings made at a specific
time, with a specific camera (1 to 4) and of a specific type, such as motion
detection or alarm.
9. The option ‘Time Search’ allows you to search for a recording made within a
specific time frame.
10. Found images can be rewound and fast forwarded using the remote control, as
explained in chapter 7.1.
11. If you wish to leave the search modus you can press the ‘Stop’ button.
7.3 Saving a backup to a USB stick
The EM6010 can export recorded images to a USB stick, so these can (for instance)
be used as evidence. Saving the images to a stick may take a while (about 5 minutes
for 10 minutes of recorded time)
1. Connect a supported* USB stick to the USB port of the EM6010
