MAINTENANCE
Lubricatethemovingparts,ifnecessary,withdrysilicon
oil.Periodicallychecktheconditionofthewheelsand
keepthemcleanofdustandsand.Makesureallplastic
partsthatslidealongthemetaltubesarecleanandfree
fromdust,dirtandsand;thiswillavoidfrictionthatmay
preventthestrollerfromworkingproperly.Keepthestroller
inadryplace.
OPENING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:whenopeningthestroller,ensurethatyour
childandallotherchildrenareatasafedistance.Ensure
thatduringtheseoperationsthemovingpartsofthestroller
donotcomeintocontactwithyourchild.
1.Beforeopeningthestroller,pressthesidebutton(diagram
1A)toraisebothhandgripsintotherightposition.Make
surethatthehandgripsarelockedintheUPposition,as
seenindiagram1B.
2.Pullboththesmallleversonthestrollerhandlesatthe
sametime;thestrollerwillstarttoopen(diagram2).
3.Raisethestrollertomakeiteasierforittoopen(dia-
gram3).
4.Pressthecrossbardownwardswithyourtoesoitopens
completelyandlocksthestrollerintheopenposition
(diagram4)
WARNING:ensurethatthestrollerislockedintheopenpo-
sition,checkingthattherearcrossbarislockedinplace.
FITTING/REMOVING THE LINING
Forpracticalreasons,thisoperationshouldbeperformed
withtheseatremovedfromthestroller.
5.Startbyttingthetoppartofthefabric(diagram5A)
sothatittsneatlyovertheback,asseenindiagram5B.
Alignthefabricwiththeplasticstructurefollowingthe
colouredtail(diagram5C).Thenfastentheinternalfabric
liningtothewingsonthestructureusingthetwovelcro
fasteners(diagram5D).Fastentheseattothebaseusing
thetwobuttonsneartheringsseenindiagram5E,then
fastenthelowerendsoftheseatusingthebuttons(A)and
thevelcrofasteners(B)foundonthesideofthestructure
asindicatedindiagram5F.Fitthelegrestsupportsinto
thefabricasseenindiagram5G.
6.Slidethe“D”ringsthroughtheslots(diagram6)
7.Threadthelapbeltintothe“D”ringsasseenindiagram7.
8.WARNING:thecrotchstrapisfastenedtotheseatsup-
portandheldinplacebythestructure.Thecrotchstrap
mustbethreadedthroughtheslotintheliningtoensure
correctandsafeuse,asseenindiagram8.Pleasereferto

9.Fastenthetwoarmrestcoversusingthepressstuds
(diagram9).
SAFETY HARNESS
Thestrollercomeswithave-pointsafetyharnessthat
consistsoftwoshoulderstraps,alapbeltandacrotch
strapwithabuckle.
WARNING:alwaysusetheshoulderstrapwhencarrying
childrenfrom0to6monthsofage.
10.Slidethesafetyclaspsintothefabricslots(diagram
10A)andcheckthattheshoulderstrapsarettedatthe
rightheightforthechild:ifthisisnotthecase,adjustthe
height(diagram10).
11.Placethechildinsidetheseat,slotthe2toothedends
intothebuckleandadjustthewidthofthelapbeltusing
theclasps(diagram11).
12.Toreleasethelapbelt,pressthetwotoothedends
togetheratthesametime(diagram12).
Forextrasafetyifrequired,“D”ringsareprovidedfortheat-
tachmentofaseparatesafetyharnessapprovedtoBS6684.
Theringsarepositionedinsidetheseatofthestrolleron
theleftandrightsidesasshowning.7.

lockintoplace(g14).

17.Presstheorangebuttononthebackofthebackrestand
lifttheseatupwards(diagram17).
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
18.Pressthegreybuttononthestrollerbackresttoadjust
theinclinationuntilyoundthepositionyouneed(dia-
gram18).Releasethebuttonandthebackrestwillclick
intotheclosestlockposition.Simplypushthebackrest
upwardstoraiseit.
WARNING:theseoperationscanbecomemoredifcult
whenthechildissatintheseat.
