Loading the laundry (pic. 10)
Open the door
m Pull the lever.
Put the laundry in the washing machine
! Garments previously treated with detergents
containing solvents, such as stain removers
etc., should be dried outside before being
washed. Danger of explosion!
! Before adding the laundry to the washing
machine, make sure there are no foreign
bodies or animals enclosed in the drum.
m Add the outspread and unfolded laundry,
mixing large and small items.
Close the door
! Make sure there are no items left trapped beĆ
tween the door and the rubber seal.
m Close the door by pressing it against the
frame of the appliance, until you can hear the
door closing shut.
Pour detergent
m Pour detergent without exceeding the maxiĆ
mum filling level mark.
- Compartment I: Detergent for pre-washing.
- Compartment II: Detergent for main wash, liĆ
mescale remover, stain removing salt...
- Compartment 2 : Additives for the last rinse,
for example softeners.
m Turn on the tap.

Starting a programme
m Set the programme selector control to the
desired programme. The «preparado-lavar»
indicator flashes.
m Press the extra function button (optional).
The indicator lights.
m If necessary, select the spin speed or ò"
(without final spin), the temperature and the
start time.
m Press the «Inicio M » button. The «preparaĆ
do-lavar» indicator comes on. The wash
programme starts (if the start time has been
selected, it will start automatically at the proĆ
grammed time).
Modifying a selected programme
! Temporarily deactivate the child safety deĆ
vice, if activated.
m Set the programme selector control to the
desired wash programme. The «preparado-
lavar» indicator flashes.
m Press the «Inicio M » button. The «preparaĆ
do-lavar» indicator comes on. The selected
programme commences.
Cancelling a wash programme
! Temporarily deactivate the child safety deĆ
vice, if activated.
m Turn the programme selector to «b» or
« Centrif. adicional». The «preparado-laĆ
var» indicator flashes.
m Press the «Inicio M» button. The «centrifuĆ
gar-terminado» indicator lights permanentĆ
ly.
Pausing a programme in course (depending on
the model)
m Press the «Inicio M» button during the washĆ
ing cycle. The screen shows ó" and the
«Inicio M» indicator flashes. The programme
is paused.
! While the active programme is paused, it is
not possible to add or remove laundry. For
reasons of safety, the door will remain
locked.
m Press the «Inicio M» button once more. The
programme continues, the «Inicio M» indicaĆ
tor comes on permanently and the washing
machine continues with the interrupted proĆ
gramme.
