or for commercial applications. In particular, it may not be used for infants, small children,
persons insensitive to heat, helpless persons or animals.
This heated underblanket is equipped with the SAFETY SYSTEM. This electronic sensor
technology prevents the entire surface of the heated underblanket from overheating by
automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches off the heated
underblanket automatically as a result of a fault, the temperature level display on the switch
is no longer illuminated even when the heated underblanket is switched on. Please note that,
after a fault has occurred, the heated underblanket can no longer be used for safety reasons
and must be sent to the service address indicated.
3.2 Putting into operation
Starting at the foot end, spread out the heated underblanket at onto your mattress. Then put
on your bedsheet in the usual manner so that the heated underblanket is between your mat-
tress and the bedsheet. Make sure that the heated underblanket is spread out entirely at and
that it will not rumple up or crease when in use.
We strongly recommend switching on the heated underblanket approx. 30 minutes before
going to bed and covering it with the quilt to prevent the warmth from escaping.
The UB 75 electric underblanket is equipped with rapid heating which reduces the heating-up
time to approx. 15 minutes.
To operate the underblanket rst connect the switch to the radiator by plugging in the connec-
tor. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.
The quickest way to heat up the heated underblanket is to rst select the highest setting. If it is
to be used for several hours, we then recommend setting the lowest temperature.
